Loved it. Always such a pleasure to read one of Katherine Center's books. Her flawed-but-lovable well-developed characters and storylines kept me guessing and made this book hard to put down, so ...v. convenient it was on my phone. A great vacation/airplane read.

Happiness for Beginners. Read The Guy at the Wedding before or after this book, preferably before! I loved these characters and it gives you so much more insight into Jake and Helen’s relationship. I’m sad the story is ending and would love more. I hope that’s a great compliment to Katherine Center for creating characters you want to follow and read more about! What you Wish for is Duncan’s story and thankfully Jake and Helen will play a small role in that book. I recommend reading them all!😊

Sadly the book wasn’t as good as the movie. Watched the movie and then immediately bought the book. I had hoped for a more in depth read than the movie gave, but it was different in key story lines and I found that the movie actually felt more natural and less cringe. There were many pets of the book that had pages of story, but didn’t offer much to the big picture. Whereas the movie had those bits sprinkled.

Thoughtful fun read. Great Summer read!
