4.5 Stars!. What a great read! Hunter was so much more than I expected! He was such a good guy. I adored his story. It was so much fun to read! I loved the friends-to-lovers storyline. It was exciting, witty, and super sexy. Hunter and Demi are now one of my favorite Kennedy couples! It was great to catch up with some of the Off-Campus and Briar U gang. Their friendships continue to melt my heart. I love these guys! I don't know where Briar U will go from here, but I am sure to follow! I would love Conor's story. Hunter & Demi <3. I have discovered elle kennedy and read all of the off campus/brair u series this month (in random order but now im planning to start from the beginning and read through them in order). I really enjoy the authors writing style because it is believable and she makes things relatable. She's so good that I now want to watch hockey even though I never was interested in it. Had to ask my coworker to help me out with that since shes super into hockey. The story of Hunter & Demi is my 2nd favorite (the 1st being Garrett and Hannah) i like how diverse the characters were in this one and how she wrote them organically and not just forcing the characters to be diverse just for the sake of it. Reading the earlier books after this had me excited anytime Hunter appeared in them knowing that eventually he would find the one for him. I would recommend this story as one of the books for any of my friends to read if they don't want to read the full series.

4/5. That one star I kept off is solely because of the TJ situation and the ending with Rupi…

Rupi. I need a Rupi and Mike story... I would really like to see that and where it goes... is there one out there cuz I couldn’t find it if there is .... but hunter and Demi’s story is very good and I loved reading it

So much love for this series. Death, taxes, the sun rising in the east, ect. You get the idea. We can add another thing to that list, any time Elle releases a book in the Briar universe, it will become an all time favorite. Every single couple and story has been an instant hit from the very first page, Hunter and Demi are no exception. Their story was beyond swoon worthy and hilarious to boot. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing at the easy banter between them. I loved their friendship, I loved the jokes and attraction. Everything about these two was completely irresistible. I think everyone has been eagerly waiting for Hunters story. We got to see some of his highs and lows with the first two books and I have been rooting for him through it all. I love that he was cleaning it up in this book although I always saw him as the good guy. There is a lot of hilarity with his self imposed abstinence. And his antics with the hockey team left me in several laughing fits. I absolutely adored the relationship he and Demi built. Hunter definitely met his match as she’s one of the funniest, most confident heroines I’ve read in a series. They were so great together. Kennedy creates pure magic in the form of NA romance. I always adore a good sports romance, and nobody does it quite like she does. Another 5 stars along with another fantastic read from her. I could happily read about the Briar crew for years to come.

I loved this one, I’ve never laughed so hard from a book!. Dear Elle Kennedy, why the freak are these books so addicting?! I swear I’ve blown through the whole Off Campus and Briar U series disturbingly fast, I can’t take a break in between them! I need more to feed my addiction!

The Play. this book was most definitely 5 stars!! the book was hilarious throughout but the characters had great chemistry!! such a good read, i definitely recommend!!

Love. This one was a really good read, I loved the progression of their friendship & how it turned into a relationship. I will say I was expecting more sex scenes but I can see bc of how the story unfolds everything was cramped together at the end. I would rate a 7/10 compare to the other 2. I love this writers style of writing. The characters are freaking HILARIOUS & very relatable. I have been cracking up at my phone like a maniac & the story is so addictive you never want to stop reading.

Another MUST READ from Elle Kennedy!. 4.5 STARS NO SPOILERS! The Play was a sexy, funny, swoon-worthy, and entertaining standalone sports romance in the utterly addicting Briar U series from the fabulously talented Elle Kennedy! I thoroughly enjoyed everything from the entertaining storyline, to the lovable and hilarious characters, witty and playful banter, and finally Elle Kennedy’s fantastic prose. I loved Hunter and Demi’s story in The Play, and while there were a few elements I didn’t like, I was very pleased with this addition to the Briar U series and was happy with the conclusion. With plenty of sexiness, laughter, swoon-worthy romance, fantastic characters, and excellent writing, The Play is a MUST READ from Elle Kennedy! I honestly can’t get enough of this author’s brand of sports romance, and I’m so excited to devour more of her incredible stories!

The Play. I loved it!!

A fun story, but…. I would rather give this 3.5 stars if I could. I loved this story… until the final few chapters. It just fell apart for me. It felt a little rushed and I was a little bummed that the epilogue didn’t really focus on our lead characters. Otherwise, it was fun getting to know these two and the slow build was done incredibly well, the tension was hot, and I literally laughed out loud several times!

All smiles. I was put off a little when I read a few reviews about the ending but I disagree with those. I loved the book and I appreciated it wasn’t overly dramatised. It’s fun and quick read. I struggled to put it down.

Needs a trigger warning for suicidal ideation. I loved loved loved Hunter and Demi. Their banter was hilarious. I was totally in love with them. However, the Hollis/Rupi story line was annoying at best, and it kind of ruined the end for me.

Another hit!!. Loved it!!! Words can’t describe! Hunter and Demi do not disappoint

Must read series!!. It’s hard for me to find a series I can read and not get bored, but this one has held my complete attention! It is a MUST to read the off campus series because they are equally good if not better! This book was so well written and really gives a good perspective of hunter and his appearances in the first two books. I recommend to anyone and everyone!!

I Need This Made Into A Show ASAP. I just finished this third book in this series and they get better with each book. This is by far my favorite so far in this series. The writing is great and I can’t tell you how much I love the playful back and forth banter between the teammates and Hunter and Demi. There were many laugh out loud moments and I was halfway through the book and I stayed up until 2 am to finish it because I could not get enough. My hats off to the Author.

Best of the series. I loved the length of this book and the story. The build up was so anticipatory and I couldn’t wait for Demi and Hunter. Reminds me of my love story and happily ever after.

Loved it!!. Absolutely loved this slow burn, friends to lovers storyline. Hunter and Demi’s chemistry was scorching hot from their first interaction and it escalated throughout this story. Their banter will have you laugh, swoon and need a fan stat! A must read in this series!

Love Hunter. Going in I knew some didn’t like Hunter from the other books but I did I liked him and found him charming and was not put off by his spiral because he had every right to be upset thought nothing was done to Intentionally hurt him. And now reading his book I love i him so much more.

Adore. Adored this book. I have loved all 7 of these stories. Originally I began me series with Summers story realising there were 4 books before that but it totally stood along. I commend Elle for making each book exciting and different instead of void of any repetitive plot line. This particular story had me sit down to begin it in the evening and kept me awake until I finished it at 3am.

Disappointed. It feels like this series has taken a turn for the worse. Maybe the author is running out of ideas? 3.5 stars compared to a solid 5 stars for The Deal.

Hunters story, well worth the wait!. Finally! Hunter’s story. I’ve been waiting for this one since he was first mentioned & the build up was worth it. Story was different from the last few books and it’s a welcomed change but still touching base with other characters from the other books. Hunter is hot as hell & he chemistry with Demi is a beautiful development.

Loved it. Loved the book as I’ve loved the two first of this series and the four books of the off campus series. It’s hilarious, the characters are endearing and can be so infuriating at times (cuz judgy parents). I enjoyed that there was more representation in this book but I’m a tiny bit disappointed because Demi is half-black and half-cuban but we don’t learn about her black background until like 1/3 of the book and it’s not really mentioned again afterward.

Amazing, then sucky, then good I guess. I liked it in the begging, b it then they kinda took her and her ex b relationship was sucky he cheated and her dad was like but give him another chance :| Hunter was great, the smut was bad honestly. Meh honestly the more I think about it the more I hate it :/ I finished it though.

The Play. I’m not interested in the gay stereotype bffs in this book it’s ruining the book for me why can’t the friends be straight I find this to be extremely offensive to the LGBTQ especially I was so excited for this book I pre-ordered it and waited a long time for it to come out what a disappointment

LOVEDDDD!. I loved this book. I honestly love all of the books from this series. The only thing I didn’t love was there wasn’t a big climax end and we didn’t get much of a glimpse into their future. It feels like it wasn’t fully “finished” but I did love the characters SO much!

Hunter & Demi. Loved this storyline! After getting glimpses of Hunter throughout some of the other books, knowing how much of a player he was, it was great to see this different side of him that was not only a great captain, but also a very loyal friend. Even though he knew it would more than likely cause trouble in their friendship, he did the right thing and told Demi about her cheating boyfriend. The fact that afterwards he also helped try to get her back into the dating world, before they both came to their senses and gave their own relationship a shot, was also admirable. I loved the chemistry between them but I really wish these books had more in depth epilogues!!! I feel like so much gets left in the unknown and the end and it drives me nuts!!
