Wow!! This book is astonishing!!. I loved this ebook and am thankful the publisher took the time to submit it into the system. A must read for anyone and everyone!! Highly recommend!

Memories. I remember watching the half hour long television of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi as a child. What excitement and suspense it held for me back then. It was such a good feeling when Rikki-Tikki extirpated Nag and Nagiana and the garden was once again void of cobras. It was a pleasure reading this short story by Kipling.

Good. This is a good book! This really is not a part of the book, but I liked Darzee's song. Though parts of the book, the words were confusing.

This is why it's a classic. Just finished this classic. When people say there bored with reading. Try re reading a classic. Your will discover a whole new book. Enjoy, we did

Rikki-tikki Rocks!!!. The same enchanting mesmerizing story I remembered from childhood! I could almost smell the oranges and dust from the garden and feel the cool of the bathroom tiles! Rudyard Kipling is a truly gifted story teller and I'm so glad to see these wonderful classic tales make the step to the literature platform of the next generation!

Rikki Tikki Tavi by Kipling. I read this story when I was a child (late 1960s) and it still holds great memories. My child now reads it. The story brings to life a courageous mongoose and his perseverance to protect a family. An excellent book for young readers. Highly recommend this story.

LOVE!!!. I watched this movie/cartoon every year as a child, and finding the book made my heart skip a beat! It’s absolutely my favorite book. It broke my heart when they were no longer showing the movie on the regular network tv stations (that’s when you knew that the holidays were coming!!!) And the book had been out of print for many years, so I was never really able to share it with my children. But now I’m able to share this wonderful classic with my grandchildren!!! (And even with my grown children too. 😊)

Rikki-Tikki. I was forced to read this in language class (7th grade) and I didn't enjoy it. It was really boring and I wouldn't suggest it to anybody.

Great short story.. Such a great story. Full of excitement. With life lessons thrown in for good measure.

Fun to read. Read this classic story (with dramatic delivery- it's quite fun to hiss all the "s" sounds when the snakes talk) to my 9- yr old son tonight, and he's still talking about it. How does a mongoose dance? Can they really catch a snake? Do we have mongooses (mongeese?) in California? Why do Cobra eggs have a different type of shell, and would they be good to fry and scramble like chicken eggs? Obviously, this simple "war story" engaged him and we all enjoyed Rikki-Tikki's pluck and tenacity. A good read for boys and brave kids.

Ok. It was okay but the words were sometimes confusing

Rikki Tikki Tavi. One of my very favorites as a child an also as an adult, I especially like how you feel like your moving around with Rikki as if your a fly on his back or something going thru the adventure with Rikki an protecting your family. This story was told to me by my Grandmother an then retold yo me by my mother. Once I became a mother I have read a told this lovely story to my children. I'm sure I will tell there grandchildren when I'm lucky enough to become a grandmother but till then I have lil nieces I would love to read this story too Aubrey,MaKenna,Rylie,Rosie, Maggie,Johnny,James I love you all a would read to you all any time love your Aunt KiKi 👒

Rikki. This is a wonderful book, that I have read at school and now at home. It is very pleasing and fun. It talks about bravery, courage, love, and most of all, dedication. This is a great book about a little mongoose. Rudyard Kipling made this book so long ago, and I am glad he did. It's a shame he's dead now, but, at least he had the chance to make such a wonderful little tale.

Terrific story. An excellent story for kids of all ages. It's about evil and bravery and mongooses. About 30 years ago Orson Welles narrated an animated version of this. His narration followed this book almost Word for Word. If you can get hold of that animated version, or it's companion --Mogli's story from the jungle book -- do it. Both films are animated but they are gritty brave and make Disney's version look like pure sugar.
