The story is supposed to be about two adults- Dylan, a grown woman who owns and operates her own bakery, and a 31 year old CPA- but the characters are written as if they act like they are 15 or 16 year olds. The story starts off with Dylan bringing a cake to her ex-boyfriends wedding and having sex with Reece within moments of meeting him in the men's bathroom. The sex scene was boring and so juvenile with his talk of him saying "what was that?" when they were finished and apologizing. I kept on reading, hoping the characters would gain some sort of depth after this very young girl fantasy start of a man taking head over heels and dealing with 'such emotion' after a bathroom joy ride, but I was sadly disappointed! Second time they have sex, and no real build of tension between the two, and he's saying "Nothing has ever felt like this, for me anyway. Have you ever felt like this?" and I knew I was reading some teenage girls fantasy world of how a grown man is going to instantly get all feely after two bangs and I knew I was going to be done with the book. Both characters are weak and unbelievably represent a more high school feel.
Don’t stop me now! (Aritter)
This short story made me wish for my old best gay friend and all the nonsense that came with it! Hilarious! Plenty of steamy romance and still made me laugh flipping pages.
This book is great! I couldn’t put it down. (cattrivera)
